摘要
While compliance is a familiar issue in many industries, it hasn't always been front-and-center with the manufacturing industry. With the proliferation of online information in today's age of global terrorism, corporate scandal and increasing product liability, governments are taking a keener interest in how information is disseminated, accessed, protected and reported. As a result, non-compliance is no longer a matter of convenience or conscience -- it can have real consequences, including hefty fines and even jail time for top executives.
