摘要
Businesses continue to experience a plethora of external and internal information management pressures as vendors become more creative with their products and services. A result of this evolution has been greater emphasis on the creation of an enterprise search platform as a foundation for integration, the development of business-specific applications and the development of strong and productive channels programs. Using search infrastructure as a platform for building multiple applications and unifying disparate content-based solutions, businesses are beginning to finally realize that enterprise search is more than a simple retrieval application.
