摘要
As mainframe computers expand their roles as large data repositories, the amount of information being kept on these large servers continues to grow exponentially.In turn, the need to handle this growing amount of data has many organizations searching for new ways to increase the storage capacity of these systems. One of the key technologies to support this requirement is FICON®, the next-generation implementation of ESCON and an extremely reliable protocol for transporting large blocks of data at high speeds.
