一位ThinkPad爱好者收藏了44台不同时期的ThinkPad，并将这些藏品拿到ThinkPad发布会上展示。

    在11月22日的ThinkPad Z60发布会现场，ThinkPad亮出“家底”，陈列了从1986年产的第一款便携电脑到去年上市的X40近40款ThinkPad笔记本。令人吃惊的是，这些珍贵的藏品竟然是由一位个人ThinkPad狂热拥趸收藏并提供的。


    郭岳一个对ThinkPad有一份特殊感情的收藏爱好者，向笔者讲述了他的ThinkPad收藏经历：“我是从2004年开始致力于收藏ThinkPad笔记本的，至今已从美国、加拿大、英国和国内收集了44款IBM在各个时期推出的笔记本电脑。其中最古老的一款是IBM在1986年推出的膝上型电脑，IBM PC convertible 5140，也是公认的IBM第一台笔记本电脑。这款电脑是2005年3月从美国购得。还有三款藏品是我在中关村在线二手论坛购得，分别是PS NOTE 5535-ZEE、ThinkPad 240和ThinkPad 755CX。”

IBM设计独特的外接USB键盘——IBM旅行键盘SK-8845（IBM USB Travel Keyboard with UltraNav）。

    SK-8845键盘由ABS工程塑料制成，整体重量与台式机键盘基本相当。并且SK-8845采用了UltraNav设计（指点杆+触摸板），经典的UltraNav设计被完全移植到了这款键盘上，再加上ThinkPad键盘超级舒适的手感，让此款键盘的手感尽可能地与ThinkPad笔记本一致。不过键盘并没有将数字小键盘设计在键盘中。键盘采用了具有ThinkPad特色的7行键位排列，因此可以有效地缩短键盘长度，增加键盘宽度，对于左手臂支撑键盘、右手操作的站立使用者来说，也是一种享受。

   键盘保留了ThinkPad键盘所有的特色，拥有包括“Access IBM”和音量控制键等四个快捷键，不过音量控制键的控制机制不同，ThinkPad上的音量按钮控制的是硬件的音量，实际是声卡的数字电位器的调节开关，所以在屏幕上有音量变化的绿色显示（Hotkey），而这个外接键盘上的音量控制是调节的Windows音量属性里的软件音量，所以在屏幕上是没有显示的。
